The Warren House series represents memories of place. This location I revisited from my childhood and then photographed. The negatives were then buried in the same location, surrendering the surface of the negatives to the physical environment. The microbes in the soil ate away the gelatin, and the actual process scratched and marked their surface. The negatives were then exhumed like a memory, and printed, representing a physical manifestation of Dartmoor and the memory of that place etched onto the surface of the photograph.
